生源和师资是影响高等教育质量的两个主要源头，决定着教学工作的起点，关系着人才培养的质量。提高生源质量就是从源头上保证人才培养的质量。文中对影响生源质量的多种内外因素进行分析，并提出提高高校生源质量的一些对策。

Student source and teaching staff are the two main factors impacting on higher education quality, which are the starting point of teaching works, and relate to the quality of talent training. Improving quality of student source ensure the the quality of talent training. This paper analyzes the various internal and external factors impacting on quality of student source, and puts forward some countermeasures to improve the quality of student source.
