We constructed a teaching mode of combining traditional engineering drawing with computer graphics. In the new teaching mode, the computer graphics teaching is more effectively in each lecture. We researched how to bring the assistant effect of computer graphics into traditional engineering drawing practice. The teaching practice shows that this teaching mode can ensure teaching content and quality of the traditional engineering drawing, and also can promote students’ practical application ability of computer graphics, sketching ability and visualization ability.
