Discipline construction is the core in the development of today’s university, which involves every aspect of university’s routine work. The authors present an analysis of the discipline construction in the following aspects, including what is discipline construction, the relations of discipline construction and administration management, of discipline construction and key disciplines, of discipline construction and intellective resource team, and some experiences of discipline construction in foreign universities.
