The teaching content of construction materials is complex, comprehensive and practical.We compared traditional teaching methods with the multimedia teaching, and the result shows that the multimedia teaching has obvious advantages.We specifically discussed ideas of teaching reform on construction materials teaching methods based on the multimedia technology, and proposed a new teaching method that gave priority to multimedia based teaching.The new method can improve teaching quality of construction materials course and provide a reference for teaching in other universities and institutes.
