新农村建设给地方高校土建类专业带来挑战和机遇，只有增强社会服务功能，尤其是农村服务功能，才能谋求自身可持续发展。文章从找准服务新农村的切入点，整合资源完善专业建设，搭建服务平台三方面着手分析，希望为地方高校土建类专业服务新农村，促进发展提供参考。

New rural construction brings challenges and opportunities to the civil engineering specialty in local universities and colleges. The civil engineering specialty in local universities and colleges has to enhance the function of social service, especially in rural area, to achieve the sustainable development. Based on the new rural construction serving, resource was rearranged and a service platform was constructed to develop the specialty. Suggestions were proposed to help new rural construction and prompt the development of rural area.
