Urban planning is an interdisciplinary subject which is comprehensive, practical and political. Firstly, we analyzed the connotation and characteristics of architecture and geography. Then we analyzed the development trend of talent training of urban planning in Western developed countries, and put forward curriculum establishment for urban planning specialty based on the mode of integration of architecture and geography. The integration of architecture and geography can improve teaching quality of urban planning, and train urban planning professional talents adapted to social requirements in the 21st century.
