Objects and contents of the researchoriented teaching of structural mechanics were presented. Investigations were mainly focused on how to strengthen training on students’ ability. Discussions on experiences of researchoriented teaching of structural mechanics laid a solid foundation for the further study of structural mechanics teaching.
