工科专业的专业课在整个人才培养过程中起着不可替代的作用。基础课程教学得到了各院校的普遍重视,课程质量基本都能得到保障,但专业课程建设往往关注度不够。文章从专业课程的教学目的入手,指出了专业课教学目的并不在于继续传授知识,而在于培养学生综合运用知识分析和解决专业问题的能力;同时论述了授课内容与教材内容之间的差别与联系,以及该如何设计作业、讨论题和考试环节才能达到培养学生的目的。

Professional courses play a very important role in students’ cultivation of engineering specialties. Most colleges pay a great attention to the fundamental courses, so the quality of the courses is usually guaranteed. However, professional courses sometimes do not receive as much attention as fundamental courses do, and the quality is often out of control. We pointed out that the purpose of professional courses was to guide students to use their knowledge to analyze and figure out problems in the professional field rather than imparting knowledge. The relationship between lecturing and textbooks was analyzed in this paper. And the design of class discussion, exercises, and examination were discussed as well.
