英国谢菲尔德大学建筑学院是英国最为古老的建筑学院之一,研究与教学并重是该学院的重要特色,其特别关注建筑与社会、文化的密切关系,突出体现在课程设置方面。文章根据作者对该学院本科教学中人文课程的观摩学习,从教学目标定位、教学内容建设、教学方法策略三个方面展开了客观细致的分析,以期对国内建筑学专业人文课程教学有所裨益。

School of architecture in Sheffield University is one of the oldest schools of architecture in UK. It is a main feature that both research and teaching are important and especially the close relationship between architecture, social and culture is valued, that are reflected in the curriculum. With the survey of the humanities courses in Sheffield University, the paper analyzed the teaching target, teaching content, teaching methods and strategies. Through this research, some meaningful reference will be provided for the humanities course teaching of architecture specialty in China.
