以高校教师知识传播者、创造者、社会文化批判者等多重身份为切入点，探讨大学教师应履行的法定义务与社会职责，以及受法律保护的权利与自由的具体内容。在此基础上从社会发展、高校制度建设层面和大学教师自身角度，探讨大学教师作为公共知识分子的职责。

This article discussed the teachers’ legal obligation, social responsibility and right with their multiple identities as disseminators and creators of knowledge, social culture critics. From the perspective of social development, institution building and the teachers themselves in universities, discussed the duty of university teachers as public intellectual.
