改革开放以来，国民经济快速发展，城市化进程加快，社会对工程创新人才需求量不断增加。文章以广东工业大学人才培养为例，分析了以区域经济发展为导向的地方高校工程创新人才培养的相关问题和措施，以期对地方工科院校的人才培养提供借鉴。

Since the reform and open-up policy, our national economy has been developing rapidly and speeding up the urbanization, there is a growing demand for innovative engineering talents. Taking Guangdong University of Technology as an example, the paper discussed the problems and measures which related to cultivate innovative engineering talents in local universities based on regional economic development. It hoped to give a reference to the innovative engineering talents training.
