According to the new code for design concrete structures (GB50010-2010), compared with the old code for design concrete structures (GB50010-2002), the paper elaborated the main basis for revision, summarized the revision contents of new code comprehensively, and put forward the new requirements of concrete structure design course on the teaching method. Meanwhile the paper offered reference to engineers and technicians in order to help them understand and master the new code.
