在分析国内外土木工程全球化程度和教学效果的基础上，提出了设置国际土木工程管理课程的重要性和必要性。国际土木工程管理课程教学内容设置应完整体现土木工程行业所涉及的工程项目管理、跨文化与工程管理的关系、领导学、市场特征、行业协会和学会的运作方式等现代土木工程行业的最新发展。教学方法上采用案例教学法及团队完成课程报告方法，将理论与实践更好地融合，并综合学生的学习态度、思辨能力和团队精神提出多尺度的考核方式。

Based on the analysis of globalization in civil engineering and education, this paper proposed the importance and necessity of setting up the course of international civil engineering management. It is further proposed the course should cover all aspects of the latest development in civil engineering, such as the common practices in project management, the impact of cultural differences, the challenging role of leaders and leadership, the complexity of market characteristics, and the operation and influence of professional and trade associations. In order to integrate theory with practice, it is highly recommended that case studies are used in the teaching and students are encouraged to work collaboratively towards their assessment. Finally，a multi-scale assessment is introduced to evaluate students’ learning outcome, including their ability to think critically, their presentation skills and teamwork spirit.
