针对学分制收费制度下土木工程专业英语选修课的困境，提出了基于“卓越工程师计划”的课程改革方法。以“授之以鱼不如授之以渔，授之以渔不如授之以乐渔”为理念，以“亲近专业英语”为教学目标，确保授课内容直接服务于学生的未来职业，使学生意识到课程的重要性并主动学习。通过系统提高学生听、说、读、写的专业英语素养，培养能适应国际化竞争的卓越工程师。

In order to go out predicaments of civil engineering English elective course with the tuition fee of credit system, the teaching reform methods based on outstanding engineers training plan is proposed. With the idea of developing the students self - study ability, and the teaching objective of enjoying professional English, the teaching contents must serve the students’ future careers, and make the students realize the course importance and study by themselves. Improving the abilities of listening, specking, reading and writing, we train the outstanding engineers who can adapt to the international competition.
