土建类高等教育是高等教育的重要组成部分，也是住房城乡建设行业人才培养的重要来源。笔者从宏观着眼分析了土建类高等教育的发展现状，探讨了土建类专业教育在办学规模、学科体系、教学质量、国际互认上所取得的成绩，同时也指出面对新形势和新要求，土建类专业教育发展在行业服务、专业内涵建设、专业定位等方面有待进一步努力的方向和具体举措。

Civil engineering in higher education is an important part of higher education and it is the talent training resource of housing and urban-rural development industry. The improvement of civil engineering education in school scale, subject system, teaching quality, and international mutual-recognition was investigated. With the new situation and requirement, civil engineering education should strengthen the service function of talent training, professional connotation construction, and specialty orientation.
