国际化已成为当代大学生思想政治教育的鲜明时代特征，对大学生思想政治教育既是严峻的挑战，也是大好的机遇。在国际化背景下，大学生思想政治教育应当发扬马克思主义与时俱进的品格，把握机遇，趋利避害，坚持理论创新与实践创新相结合，不断提高大学生思想政治教育的针对性和实效性。首先，要把握大学生思想政治教育创新的理论策略：思想上要破除陈规、立场上要旗帜鲜明、策略上要辩证扬弃。其次，通过调整培养目标、丰富教育内容、更新教育手段和提高政工队伍的素质等举措，全面把握大学生思想政治教育创新的实践途径。

Internationalization has become the distinct characteristics of the times of contemporary ideological and political education. It is not only a challenge but also a great opportunity for ideological and political education. Under the international background, the ideological and political education should carry forward the characteristics of Marxism, seize opportunities and avoid disadvantages, adhere to the integration of theory and practice innovation, and continuously improve the relevance and effectiveness of ideological and political education. First, we must grasp the innovative theory strategy of ideological and political education: getting rid of ideological stereotypes and standing up to take a clear strategy to dialectical sublation. Second, we must grasp the innovative practical ways of ideological and political education: adjusting the training target, enriching educational contents, updating education means, and improving the quality of ideological work staff.
