高校人文素质教育是人才培养过程中的重要组成部分，文章分析了目前城市规划专业人文素质教育存在的现状与问题，归纳人文教育缺失的原因，指出城市规划专业进行人文素质教育的重要性。通过对人文素质教育与CDIO关系的梳理，建立了以H-CDIO为主导的城市规划专业人文素质教学模式，提出该模式在培养大学生人文素质教育中的具体应用和实施过程。
