Content-based instruction (CBI) is an umbrella term referring to instructional approaches that make a dual, though not necessarily equal, commitment to language and content-learning objectives. This article is based on the CBI concept and teaching methods, from two aspects, the output of the teachers’ and students’ input, discusses the application of the CBI to the bilingual teaching in the major of urban and rural planning.
