The professional practice and social role of the planner determines that ethical awareness training should be one of the core contents of urban planning education. At present, there has not been a complete system of ethics education in the education of urban planning in China.Learning from the successful experience of foreign ethical education of urban and rural planning,the paper discusses the main ways to achieve ethics education of urban planning, such as strengthening ethics education curriculum system,constructing ethics case base,strengthening the combination of production and research, innovating planning ethics teaching mode and strengthening ethics training for professional teachers.
