Abstract:According to the course orientation of mechanics of materials, to develop talents with innovative skills, the reform in teaching content, method and form should be driven by course evaluation. A multi-dimensional teaching innovation model where teaching and assessment, teaching and learning, theory and real engineering application, in-class and out-class activities, pre-lecture and after-lecture exercises are combined should be developed. The goal is to develop students' engineering acumen, self-learning ability, and the capability to solve real-world problems, and to improve students' creativity.
