Following the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the forum with teachers of ideological and political theoretical courses, taking the principle of "building strong moral character" as the basis of curriculum-based ideological and political education, the basic idea of ideological and political reform in engineering discipline group courses is condensed and proposed in the three directions of reform direction, system construction and team building. Based on Marxist epistemology and the connotation of professional courses in engineering discipline, the ideological and political system of curriculum is constructed. The hierarchical ideological and political carrier of curriculum, which includes engineering background, engineering project examples, engineering history, engineering philosophy, academic tradition and discipline history, is presented.
