Abstract:The core requirement of engineering education certification is to train qualified engineers with the ability to solve complex engineering problems. Based on the core concept of "three-dimensional synergy", the Department of Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering in Beijing University of Technology has established a talent training mode with a system of essential knowledge modules, a hierarchical multi-dimensional comprehensive practice teaching system, and a comprehensive quality training mechanism. This model combines the engineering certification concepts of student-centered, outcome-based and continuous improvement, incorporates new technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence in the process of knowledge transfer, ability training and quality cultivation, tracks the achievement of students' learning goals in real time and develops students' ability to solve complex engineering problems progressively. It constructs a model for cultivating the ability to solve complex engineering problems and is of great significance in the implementation of engineering education certification and promotion of the construction of emerging engineering education.
