In the new stage of all-round development of education and teaching reform, the attention to the construction and reform of textbooks is obviously insufficient, but textbooks play an irreplaceable role in talent training. Entering the new era, under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the construction of problem-oriented textbooks is the key point. This paper finds out problems in the existing textbooks through investigation and research, and puts forward the general framework and general characteristics of the new edition textbook construction. Meanwhile, it proposes to explore new paper-digital integrated textbooks by means of information platforms. Textbook construction can lay a solid foundation for the cultivation of intelligent construction professionals, and also serve as a useful reference for the construction of other new engineering textbooks.
