As an important part of the talent training plan for colleges and universities, civil engineering experimental teaching is the key link for cultivating excellent civil engineers. At present, the curriculum system and laboratory management pattern of civil engineering experimental teaching is not perfect; the experimental teaching content is outdated and the students do not pay attention to experimental teaching. In view of this, the experimental teaching reform is very important. In view of the current situation and prominent problems in the experimental teaching of civil engineering, some teaching reform measures have been put forward, such as dividing experimental teaching level, constructing network experimental teaching platform ，improving the experiment teaching syllabus and opening computer course. It is aimed at cultivating high-quality talents with practical ability, creative ability and satisfying social needs.
