    摘要:

    我国木结构发展迅速,但我国木结构教学相较国外仍差距明显,我国土木工程专业学生在木结构方向的设计和分析能力亟待提高,与国外高校合作并组织我国学生赴境外接受木结构学习可高效地借助先进的木结构教学体系,为学生提供更丰富的实践资源与学习体验,本文介绍了木结构境外教学的主要内容和教学手段。境外学习学生反馈显示,境外教学整体效果显著,学生木结构设计能力得到了增强,专业实践能力得到了拓展,学术英语表达能力得到了进步。文章从英语教学、实践教学、前后期教学等方面进行了思考,提出了相应的改革措施,探索了未来木结构境外教学模式的发展方向。

    Abstract:

    Timber structure in China is developing rapidly, but the gap in teaching timber structure at university is large between China and other countries. Chinese civil engineering students’ design and analysis capacities of timber structure should be improved. Various practice resources and studying experiences can be obtained to students under the advanced timber structure teaching system by collaborating with foreign universities and sending Chinese students abroad for summer school in the area of timber structures. This paper introduces the course content and teaching methods of the summer school in timber structure. The students’ feedback of the summer school shows that the effect of studying abroad is significant, e.g. students’ design ability got improved, students’ practice experience got increased and students’ academic English got enhanced. This paper discusses the English teaching, practice teaching and pre- post- teaching, and raised related improvement measures. It also explores the development of the future summer school in timber structure.
