一流的本科教育是一流大学的立校之本。为适应培养土木工程复合人才的需要,改变传统“以教师为中心”的教学模式,探索一种以学生为主体的教学模式,有必要对土木工程专业课程进行教学改革。以建筑结构抗震设计课程为例,针对目前教学中存在的不足,并结合该课程的内容多、学时少,教学难度大等特点,基于“以学生为中心”(Student-Centered)的教学理念,从教学内容、教学方法、实践环节和评价体系等几个方面,调整教学模式和教学手段,鼓励和引导学生课后自主学习,解决课时少、内容多的问题;采用多种手段辅助教学,激发学生的学习兴趣;重视实践教学环节,增强学生综合应用能力和创新实践能力;完善教学评价体系,将过程性指标引入评价体系,同时也对教学工作进行评价,形成师生之间的良性互动。根据教学改革前后的教学效果的比较,分析结果说明基于SC的改革措施充分调动了学生的学习热情,增强了自主学习能力,提高了学生的学习成绩,也促进了教师的教学水平提高和培养质量,取得了较好的教学效果,希望对其他土木工程专业课程改革有所帮助。

Top-ranking undergraduate education is the foundation of top-ranking universities. It is necessary to reform the teaching of civil engineering courses to meet the needs of training civil engineering composite talents, change the traditional “teacher-centered” teaching mode and explore a teaching mode of “student-centered”. Taking the seismic design course of building structure as an example, this paper carries out teaching reform that focused on the shortcomings of the current teaching and combined with the characteristics of the course such as more content, fewer class hours and greater teaching difficulty from teaching contents, teaching methods, practice links and evaluation system, based on the “Student-Centered” teaching concept. First, adjust the teaching mode and teaching methods, encourage and guide students to learn independently after class to solve the problem of less class but more content. Second, use a variety of means to assist teaching to stimulate students" interest in learning. Third, pay attention to practical teaching and enhance students" comprehensive application ability and innovative practice ability. Fourth, perfect the teaching evaluation system, introduce the process index into the evaluation system, and evaluate the teaching work at the same time to form a benign interaction between teachers and students. According to the comparison of teaching effects before and after the teaching reform, the analysis results show that the reform measures based on SC not only fully mobilize students" learning enthusiasm, enhance their autonomous learning ability, improve students" learning achievement, but also promote teachers" teaching level and training quality. The teaching reform has achieved good teaching results, hoping to be helpful to the curriculum reform of other civil engineering majors.
