在不断完善“新工科”的教育理念的过程中,各工科专业如何有效实施成为“新工科”建设的关键。目前中国在桥梁的建设规模和数量上都取得了举世瞩目的成就,但这只能证明中国是桥梁大国,而非桥梁强国。作为传统工科专业的桥梁工程,在“新工科”的建设中具有一定的代表性,本文将探讨以课程群模式实施桥梁工程专业的“新工科”建设,以及桥梁工程课程群在新工科背景下应该具有的特征。借助于“课程地图”方法构建了桥梁工程课程群的课程组成,进一步对桥梁工程课程群的课程之间关系进行了梳理;充分利用现代化教学技术,开发了桥梁工程课程群平台,对已有教学资源进行整理归纳,加强课程之间联系,让师生能够共享教学资源;同时还明确了新工科课程群教学团队的理念与任务,探讨课程群在实施过程中所遇到的问题与解决方案,交流基于课程群的教学模式经验,进而完善课程群体系、提升教学水平。福州大学桥梁工程课程群的建设成果,可为其它学科的新工科建设提供参考。
