The independent college has a special operation mechanism, and it is an important task to train the successors of socialism. First, this paper combs the current situation and bottlenecks in the party construction of independent colleges; secondly, with the help of bibliometric method, the literature data of China HowNet from 2004 to November 2019 are visualized. The research found that the academic community continued to pay attention to the party building work of independent colleges, and the research focuses on four aspects: the necessity of the party building work of independent colleges, the discovery and solution of problems, the specific methods to solve problems, and the integration of innovative thinking to promote the development of Party building, theoretical research serves to solve practical problems. Strengthen the ideological and political education of teachers and students, empower the party construction of independent colleges with the help of new models such as Internet and intelligence, and improve the level of Party construction.
