各类高水平设计竞赛对建筑学本科教学有良好的促进作用。在多种参赛组织形式中,选择竞赛作为设计课程组织全体师生参加拥有诸多优势,也存在一些难点。通过近年来组织的竞赛课程教学实践,分析了竞赛课程的优势与劣势,总结了从竞赛选题、课内教学到课后延伸辅导的教学组织过程。通过问卷调查分析发现：学生方面普遍积极评价了竞赛课程,多数能跟上竞赛节奏,但还存在更多方面的教学需求；教师方面也同样认同竞赛课程,认为原教学框架基本能适应竞赛要求,还需发展针对性的教改措施。总之,竞赛作为设计课程是一项可行且有益的教学活动,还需持续地积累经验、完善教学组织。
