Abstract:The development of digital technology and the improvement of information technology provide new methodology and theoretical support for urban planning, and strengthen the rational core of urban planning. However, the curriculum based on information integration is still in a weak position in the graduate teaching of urban planning. Based on the analysis of the improvement of information skills and the absence of information literacy training in the teaching system of urban planning graduate students in China, this paper analyzes the training courses and training methods of urban planning graduate students in three famous European and American planning universities, namely, New York University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University College of London, and puts forward corresponding suggestions from three aspects: training objectives, curriculum setting and teaching methods
