According to the angle of ideological and political teaching, it takes the teaching of Detailed Urban Planning (2) at Suzhou University of Science and Technology as an example to make the exploration on the teaching ways for the design courses of Urban and Rural Planning Major in this thesis. Based on this, it hopes to promote the simultaneous improvement of the ideological and moral quality as well as the professional knowledge level of students. Then, it will carry out deep research on the all-round and all-chain teaching of the course from these aspects, such as the strength on building teaching team, the extension and perfection of the teaching content, the organization of immersive "teaching process and the improvement of the teaching evaluation system. What’s more, it will pay attention to the curriculum value system of urban spatial cognition and start from space justice to build the ideological and political teaching path of "emphasizing professional curriculum supplemented by ideological and political course". In this way, it will combine professional knowledge education with the practice of socialist core values, achieve the target of curriculum cultivation guided by "value system", and realize the collaborative education of people by combining professional education with ideological and political education.
