Abstract:In the context of inventory planning, China's urban renewal has entered a new stage of quality improvement and multi governance, while the separation between the old community of colleges and universities and the surrounding communities is contrary to it. Taking the "hole" on the boundary fence between the East residential community of South China University of technology and the adjacent Wushan Garden community in Tianhe District, Guangzhou as the research object, this paper explores the causes of the "hole" from the three dimensions of use demand, management mode and support policy through measurement, tracking, questionnaire and interview, and then puts forward to understand the management mechanism, build a common governance platform Three ways to set phased goals, promote multi governance and boundary reconstruction between the two communities, improve the community life circle and realize resource sharing. This research has a certain reference significance for the renewal of management mode and the reconstruction of boundary space of old communities in Colleges and universities.
