    土木工程专业(结构工程方向)要求毕业生具备扎实的结构设计理论和一定的工程实践应用能力,对于双学位辅修学生来说,存在着时间紧、任务重、学习难度大的天然难题。混凝土结构是其中典型的理论和实践并重型专业课程,以其为例对辅修专业课程教学困难进行学术调研,并提出改进对策与建议。调研发现目前存在辅修学生已修课程基础偏弱、不同专业学生可利用时间难统一、单次课时长易导致师生疲劳以及学生重修难度大等问题。因此教师在理论知识讲解时应注重生动性和可回顾性,可以结合网络课程以及相关试验和动画视频讲解。此外针对辅修学生的学习难点应更注重实践能力培养,合理安排理论授课和实践教学时间,同时加强工程应用实例和工程事故案例讲解,提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力,并培养职业责任感。

    Abstract:

    The major of Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) requires graduates to have adequate knowledge concerning structural design and engineering practice. For double-degree education, the existing problems, including excessive teaching tasks to be completed within limited time, present great challenges for minor course lecturers. An academic investigation on the difficulties encountered in minor course teaching has been conducted and solutions are proposed. During the investigation, the Concrete Structures course, which values both mechanic theory and engineering practice, was taken as an example. It is shown that the theoretical foundation of students taking minor courses are weak, the teaching time for students from different majors is difficult to arrange, prolonged class may lead to fatigue of teachers and students, and it is difficult for students to catch up if they fail in the exam. Therefore, lecturers should pay attention to the vividness and retrospectivity of the theoretical knowledge teaching, which can be realized through experiments, animation videos and online courses. Moreover, the cultivation of engineering practice ability should also be highlighted for double-degree students. The teaching time for theoretical knowledge and engineering practice should be reasonably planned. Case study of renowned buildings and notorious structural failures can be carried out to develop the engineering problem-solving ability and professional responsibility of students.
