面对蔓延的新冠疫情,陷入窘境的经济状况和锐减的国际学生给澳大利亚的土木工程专业教育带来了巨大的困境和挑战。本文通过描述疫情对澳大利亚高等教育带来的影响,对疫情下澳大利亚土木工程学科的发展现状进行分析与反思,揭示了澳大利亚土木工程教育本科专业深度和精品化程度不高;疫情下课程特色难以体现,专业实践优势无处施展;科研进展缓慢,效率降低的现状,提出我国土木工程专业教育要处理好教育通识性与专业性的关系,更加重视学生的积极体验,全面提高学生能力;并且提高课程精品化与专业化程度促进学科教育的全面发展,以形成高校核心竞争力,为我国高校土木工程专业教育注入新的活力。

In the face of the spread of the COVID-19, the distressed economic situation and the sharp decline in international students have posed significant and long-term challenges to civil engineering education in Australia. By describing the impact of the COVID-19 on Australian higher education, this paper analyzes and reflects on the current situation of the development of civil engineering discipline in Australia under the epidemic, revealing that the depth and specialization of undergraduate civil engineering education in Australia is not high; the characteristics of the curriculum can hardly be reflected under the epidemic, and the advantages of professional practice have nowhere to show; the progress of scientific research is slow and the efficiency is reduced, and proposes that China's civil engineering professional education should deal with the relationship between education generalism and professionalism, pay more attention to the positive experience of students, and improve students' comprehensive abilities. Meanwhile, it is of great necessity to upgrade the degree of curriculum boutique and specialization to promote the comprehensive development of discipline education, to formulate the core competitiveness of universities, so as to inject new vitality into the civil engineering education in China.
