    摘要:

    面向国家建设交通强国的发展目标,交通事业对人才的国际化能力提出更高要求。推广结构力学双语教学是高等教育培养高水平国际化人才的有力措施。首先论述了华中地区某高校土木工程专业开展结构力学双语教学的可行性;其次,基于学习迁移理论,介绍了英语能力和专业基础能力的横向迁移和纵向迁移;再次,分析了结构力学课程内部知识点的纵向迁移;最后,以“叠加法作弯矩图”为例,说明了结构力学双语教学的设计。通过探索结构力学双语教学模式,提高学生学习效率,提升学生专业能力方面的国际化水平。

    Abstract:

    Encountering with the developing goals of the national transportation industry, which needs increasing number of professional civil engineers with good international communication ability. It is a great opportunity to promote bilingual instruction in structural mechanics. In this paper, firstly, the feasibility study of bilingual instruction in structural mechanics is organized. Secondly, the learning transfer disciplines between English competences and professional skills are analyzed. Thirdly, the learning transfer disciplines in structural mechanics are studied. Finally, taking “use superposition method to draw moment diagram” as an example, the bilingual instructional design of structural mechanics is implemented. To promote bilingual instruction in structural mechanics may be a useful attempt to develop the learning efficiency and international communication ability of students.
