Abstract:Practical teaching is a bridge for students of bridge engineering major from theoretical study to practical production. Aiming at the problems of poor coherence, low efficiency and poor effect in the traditional practical teaching of bridge engineering, the bridge engineering course group of College of Civil Engineering of Tongji University explored and constructed a new model of through-learning chain for multiple practical teaching courses on the basis of years of practice and research. The model takes demand drive, potential stimulation and innovation orientation as the core, forming a comprehensive teaching idea from learning and cognition to skill training and then to solving complex engineering problems. In this teaching chain, students" course learning, virtual platform, production practice, paper research layer through layer; Ideological and political teaching, national conditions practice, construction site, patent application, innovation and entrepreneurship are linked together, so as to improve the consistency of practical teaching of bridge engineering specialty, enrich the teaching content and improve the teaching effect.
