Industry characteristic universities are an important part of China"s higher education system, and also an important force to promote the development of industry economy. Architecture universities are typical industry-specific universities. With the deepening of higher education reform and the urgent need of the transformation and upgrading of the traditional architecture industry, the development of traditional architecture universities is facing many problems. In the new era, re-examining the characteristics and connotation of industry-specific universities, analyzing the development dilemma of architecture-specific universities, and exploring the way of high-quality development of architecture-specific universities to help architecture-specific universities move towards high-level characteristic universities have become major issues that China"s higher architecture education must pay attention to and solve.
