Abstract:Curriculum ideology and politics is an important and effective way to realize the “Three-Whole Education”. The course "Principles and Equipment of Heat and Mass Exchange" is an important course for the specialty of building environment and energy application engineering, which is characterized by the highly theoretical and great difficulty. The overall ideas and specific ways of implementing curriculum ideology and politics in the course was explored. Based on the characteristics of this course and the specialty, the ideological and political goals of the course were formulated and listed in the course syllabus. The ideological and political elements of the course were deeply excavated from three aspects, including cultivating the knowledge exploration and thinking ability, conveying the scientific spirit and establishing the concept of green and low-carbon development in the HVAC industry. Under the guidance of the student-centered concept, the inquiry-based teaching organization and process evaluation and assessment were practiced, ensuring that the curriculum ideology and politics were efficiently integrated into the teaching process. In addition, a concrete implementation case of the curriculum ideology and politics for the teaching content of "air conditioning system with temperature and humidity independently control" was presented.
