Abstract:“Concrete and Masonry Structure” is the core course of civil engineering, mainly composed of two parts of concrete structure design and masonry structure design, which are both relatively independent and intrinsically unified. In view of the problems found during teaching practice, this paper analyzed the characteristics of the course content of “Concrete and Masonry Structure”, clarified the intrinsic relationship between the two courses of “Concrete Structure Design” and “Basic Theory of Concrete Structure” and summarized the unified knowledge structural line suitable for the concrete structure and masonry structure. On this basis, the comparison points and comparison purposes of the main content of masonry structure and concrete structure are proposed. The comparative pedagogy including integrated classroom lectures, thematic discussions, after-class analysis and flipped classroom are constructed. Meanwhile, this paper constructed the curriculum ideological and political education methods focusing on the ideal and belief education, professional literacy education, scientific and technological innovation education. The ideological and political entry points and goals for specific curriculum content are given.
