给排水科学与工程专业卓越工程师培养计划意在从国家生态文明建设的角度出发,培养适应新时代国家战略和行业发展需求的卓越型人才。本文以华中科技大学给排水科学与工程专业为例,针对高校给排水卓越人才前期培养过程中存在的突出问题,如结合国家重大战略需求不够紧密、课程难度深度有待提高、学科交叉研究不够广泛、工程实践能力培养较欠缺、全方位人才培养体系不够健全等,进行了培养体系改革创新与实践,包括思政元素深度融入课程教学,紧密结合国家重大战略需求;紧扣卓越人才培养目标,提高专业难度、深度与广度;聚焦学科前沿,注重学科交叉,着重提高学生创新研究、汇报总结、自主学习等综合能力;加强实践教学,构建“三维融合”工程创新型环境人才培养机制;加快创设水处理综合创新实验平台、虚拟仿真实验教学平台等科研基础设施平台,综合提高人才全过程、全方位培养质量。经实践检验和业界评价,卓越工程师培养体系创新特色明显,成效显著,学生课业成绩平均提升10%以上,师生互动得到加强,学生取得了包括“深水杯”、“挑战杯”在内的一系列创新创业成果,用人单位对本专业毕业生综合满意率达100%,专业教学改革成果多次获得省部级奖项,具有一定的推广参考价值。

The Excellent Engineer Training Program of Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering aims to cultivate excellent talents who can adapt to the national strategy and industry development needed for the ecological civilization construction. This paper takes the water supply and drainage science and engineering major of Huazhong University of Science and Technology as an example to address the outstanding problems existing in the early training process of outstanding talents in colleges and universities, such as insufficient integration with major national strategic needs, difficulty and depth of courses that need to be improved, insufficient cross-disciplinary research, relatively insufficient engineering practical ability, and the all-round talent training system is not sound enough. To deal with these problems, we have carried out the reform, innovation and practice of the training system, including the integration of ideological and political elements into the curriculum teaching, closely combining the major national strategic needs, improving professional difficulty, depth and breadth, following the training goals of excellent talents, and focusing on disciplines frontier and interdisciplinary to improve students' comprehensive abilities such as innovative research, reporting and summarizing, and independent learning, and strengthening practical teaching, building a "three-dimensional integration" engineering innovative environment talent training mechanism, accelerating the creation of scientific research infrastructure platforms such as the comprehensive innovation experimental platform for water treatment and the virtual simulation experimental teaching platform, comprehensively improving the quality of the whole process and all-round training of talents. Through practical testing and industry evaluation, the excellent engineer training system has obvious innovative features and remarkable results. Students' academic performance has increased by more than 10% on average, teacher-student interaction has been strengthened. Students have achieved a series of innovation and entrepreneurship achievements including the "SZWG Cup" and "Challenge Cup". Employers' comprehensive satisfaction rate for graduates of this major reaches 100%. The professional teaching reform achievements have won many provincial and ministerial awards, which has a certain degree of promote reference value.
