Taking the ideological and political education of the course "Principles of Hydrology" as an example, focusing on the cultivation of professional knowledge and abilities as well as ideological and political education, the overall design of the course"s ideological and political education is carried out from the aspects of cultivating materialistic dialectics thinking, promoting excellent national culture and inspiring patriotism, advocating a sense of responsibility for the world and people"s livelihoods, stimulating a sense of responsibility and mission for science and technology to serve the country, and shaping the spirit of innovation and pragmatism in the new era.
