Abstract:There are currently existing problems in theoretical teaching, such as rigid curriculum content, single teaching method and limited evaluation forms. It is an innovative probe of theoretical curriculum reform to promote reconstruction of theoretical curriculum construction and practice empowered by problem-oriented modular teaching. Taking the oriental and western landscape history course as an example, this paper analyzes the realization path of problem-oriented modular teaching in empowering theoretical curriculum construction, including deepening knowledge system in teaching design, improving teaching organization in teaching process, and adjusting evaluation mechanism in teaching feedback. Accordingly, by updating the teaching objectives, optimizing the teaching content, reconstructing the teaching model, adjusting the evaluation system, and expanding the relevance of the curriculum, the course team has carried out the curriculum construction and practice empowered by problem-oriented modular teaching, which gradually cultivated students' thinking ability, design ability and writing ability, laying the foundation for scientific research and practical innovation. It is a teaching strategy that meets the requirements of theoretical courses under the emerging engineering education discipline in colleges and universities. It is of great significance and reference value to further deepen the exploration of teaching reform of traditional engineering theory education.
