Abstract:Undergraduate graduation thesis (design) is the teaching link that takes up the most hours during the students" schooling period and measures the students" comprehensive quality and practical ability, which is of great significance to the cultivation of outstanding engineers in the new era. To meet the needs of high-quality talents cultivation in the new era, colleges and universities have carried out educational reform explorations to address the many shortcomings of the traditional thesis (design) link, and its core trend is the integration of industry, research and education. The Department of Structural Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, Tongji University has made reforms and explorations in the areas of practice base construction, dual tutor guidance mode, information management platform, quality assessment system and other aspects around the integration of industry, research and education in the teaching construction and practice of undergraduate thesis (design) teaching, and has achieved remarkable results. The exploration results of the deep integration of industry, research and education have good demonstration and promotion value and reference significance, and also lay the foundation for the promotion and implementation of the special program for the cultivation of outstanding engineers.
