In the field of higher vocational education, the idea based on work process becomes more and more popular. According to rules of higher vocational education and characteristics of interior design, the article tries to conclude characteristics，development law and interrelation of courses system in interior design. With a macroscopic and new view to the courses system, morever，the article proposes some constructive thoughts for the reformation and tendency of higher vocational education for interior design.
