Taking the leading of the graduation project of the civil engineering for example,beginning from analyzing the students’cognition & interest in the graduation design. Some problems are brought out about how to pick the subject, the leader,and how to manage the process.In order to improve the level of the graduation project, some countermeasures are given out in the article ,for instance ,more attention should be paid to the beginning, the end, the practice, knowing each other between the teacher and students and the students’activities. At the same time, some other methods should be taken to guide the gradation project.
