The article concerns the current lab administration problems and proposes a method of “vertical administration”:reasonable allocation of equipment, integration and optimization of human resources. It also examines the details of registry and assessment rule, including lab allday opening, equipment lease and students supervision of equipment use and condition. The article also makes a deep probe and analysis of lab’s function orientation, advises the setup of simulation lab, lab service to research projects, hence developing the lab into an incubator of scientific research achievements. This is an effective way of promoting the current lab’s function and role, and also a good way to improve lab’s leading position in university’s teaching and research.
