Nowadays, the appearances of Chinese cities are undesirable. Most of the architecture designs are mediocre and repetition with each other. There are few excellent architects. These situations are contrasted by the success of Finland’s architecture designs. One of the fundamental reasons of the difference between China and Finland is the education system. To educate architects with original innovation capability, I summarized the superiorities of the architectural education system in Finland, compared it with that of China to find the disadvantages, and proposed suggestions to improve and renovate the higher architectural education system in China.
