Abstract:Applicationoriented talents of urban planning are greatly demanded due to the rapid urbanization in P. R. China. We analyzed the training mode of innovative quality education for teaching them from three aspects, which were specialty and training orientations, training mode of innovative quality education, and support conditions of completing the mode. The key of the training mode were making urban planning practice as a core of the teaching content, optimizing the course system, and strengthening scientific research and social practice. The results can be used as a reference of constructing the training mode.
