    摘要:

    岩石力学是一门实践性很强的课程,工程实例、实验模型和理论模型的结合将直接影响课程的教学效果。介绍了把基于高性能计算技术的软、硬件平台应用于岩石力学教学的情况,拓宽了传统实验教学中的实验对象,实现了对工程实例、实验模型和理论模型的精细数值表征;通过鼓励学生自发设计模型进行数值模拟分析,激发了学生的思维能力和创造性,有利于学生理解和掌握教学内容。在高性能计算机日益普及的形势下,对国内高校岩石力学教学提供了有益的参考。

    Abstract:

    The course of rock mechanic is an engineering subject with very strong practicality; the combination of rock engineering, experimental model and theoretical model has considerable effects on its teaching quality. The achievement of high-performance computing technique based on soft and hard platform is employed in teaching rock mechanics. The rock engineering, experimental model and theoretical model are numerically investigated subtly. We encouraged students to design the numerical model and conduct the numerical study, which effectively help students to understand the elementary knowledge, foster their creativity, develop their basic research capacity, and expand their thinking extension and depth. With the popularization of high-performance computers, the investigation can provide significantly meaningful guides for the teaching of rock mechanics course in practice.
