Based on the engineer training practice of civil engineering specialty in Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, the paper pointed out the inter-disciplinary talent facing construction was the main type of engineer in local colleges. Through the practice and research learning improved the style of study, grasped the orientation of registration for practitioners person in building trades. With the research and estimate standard of engineer training and the history of civil engineer specialty, expounded the orientation and foundation of engineer training standards in local colleges.
